Nai Thon Beach
Nai Thon Beach is a quiet resort town located on the northwestern coast of Phuket, between Nai Yang and Bangtao beaches. Scarcely developed, it offers a pleasant destination for all those in search of a peaceful area for their holiday. Surrounded by verdant hills and agricultural operations, Naithon features two beaches, Naithon Yai (big) and Naithon Noi (small).
The former is the main village set along the beach road. The beach is a 900m-long stretch of sand fringed by a large row of pine trees offering agreeable shade to beach-goers. Every day, vendors set their stalls along the beach road to sell yummy snacks and refreshing drinks. Naithon Noi, can only be reached through the Andaman White Beach Resort.
A third ‘secret’ beach is located 500m south of Naithon Noi. Banana Beach is a pristine tropical paradise accessible through a steep 100m-long path in the jungle. It offers great snorkelling at both ends.
So far, Naithon Beach has been spared by the big developers, so remains a tranquil destination. It nevertheless hosts a great choice of dining and shopping opportunities, as well as Thai massage parlours. The dining scene in Nai Thon features dozens of restaurants as well as three coffee shops. Three restaurants stand out from the lot: Macarona (Italian/German cuisine), Baan Phutawam (typical Thai cuisine), and Nai Thon Steakhouse (Thai/Russian cuisine). These three eating places are recommendable for the quality of their cuisine as well as for their fair rates.
On the shopping side, Naithon resort town houses four convenience stores, one pharmacy and three ATM/exchange booths. A taxi station can also be found on the beach road. The massage parlours dispense Thai or oil massages as well as reflexology (foot massage). You will surely enjoya very relaxing or revitalising moment between the hands of a skilled masseuse.
Our villa complex, Bismarcks Paradise, is located some 3km away from Naithon Beach. The main road leading to the beach from the north is really bucolic. It passes through farms in valleys and thick rainforest at the top of the hills. The road heading south toward Bangtao Beach is simply superb. Once passed Banana Beach (1km south of Naithon Yai), only a few high-end resorts can be seen in this area of Phuket Island that has retained most of its natural appearance.
