Cape Panwa

Cape Panwa, Phuket
Located on Phuket's southeastern side is a little village called Cape Panwa. Home to the infamous Panwa Beach, this unique small southern cape offers a quaint hometown feel with refreshing sea breezes. As there are no islands surrounding the southern cape, the views out to sea are spectacular.

Although not a very large village, it still has a lot to offer. With many fine dining restaurants and several high-end resorts, this tiny cape has modern charm and a friendly welcoming atmosphere. Furthermore, with evening vendors along the boardwalk, and plenty of benches to sit on and listen to the ocean, it truly does feel like you're home. This little cape does indeed boast many local dining establishments, hotels, and condominiums!

However, it is also home to something much more interesting: the Phuket Marine Biological Center. Nestled at the end of the boardwalk, this unique 80 acres research center/aquarium devotes its time on marine life preservation as well as the education of the locals and tourists on the subject.
