International Hospital

International-Hospital Phuket is usually the first choice for foreigners in Phuket. If you have to visit them, please don’t forget to bring your insurance papers. This hospital, like the Bangkok hospital, are special expensive for foreigners. General sicknesses or accidents are done acceptable good, but if it gets more complicated like head or heart problems, choose either to fly home, Singapore or to Bangkok Hospital Bumrungrad.

Hospitals in Thailand have an own restaurant from where you can order dishes….we never got a bad one.

Sometimes they have cheaper offers for a general check, worthwhile, special the blood test.

If you leave the International-hospital, don’t buy too many medicine from them. You get it a lot cheaper outside (at “Super Cheap” or one of the Chinese pharmacies in Phuket Town).
