This is considered one of the best dive shops on Phuket Island and it is well-established, having been in Thailand for over twenty-years. The Sea Bees Diving Center in Nai Yang Beach is a branch of the original Sea Bees Center in Chalong Beach on the southeast side of Phuket. The Nai Yang location is on the northwest corner of the island just south of the Phuket International Airport (HKT) by a few kilometers.
Diving on Phuket Island is predominantly done by day trips on large dive boats. There are some spots closer to shore, but the best diving is off-island and requires a bigger boat to get out away from the shallows. Sea Bees Diving Center has a large 75-foot (23 meters) diving boat called the “Excalibur 2”.
What is their claim to fame? Over the years, Sea Bees has won ten “Golden Dolphin Awards” for having maintained the ‘best dive centre in Southeast Asia and the Pacific’, and they are the only 5-star DIN certification for ‘Proven Top Service Provider’ in Thailand. The company also has nearly seven-hundred 5-star reviews at TripAdvisor for their Chalong branch! You’re in good hands.
What might you see on a dive trip with Sea Bees? Common sightings include everything from mantas and eagle rays to whale sharks and seven other shark species, along with hundreds of other fish and marine-life species! In addition to day diving trips and live aboard boats, they also offer training for dive instructor certification.
You can find Sea Bees Dive Center at Nai Yang Beach about three kilometers from Bismarcks Paradise, Luxury Villas Phuket. Other Thailand locations are: Khao Lok, Pak Meng and even live aboard boats off Phuket, way out on the Andaman Ocean.
